About Us
| The Roanoke
Metaphysical Chapel is a Church that welcomes everyone. We celebrate
cultural diversity and never discriminate against anyone based on
their sex, race, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation.
Our religion of Divine Metaphysics is firmly based on love and
compassion, personal responsibility, natural law, and the
philosophy of Native American spirituality. Historically we
have roots grounded in both Spiritualism and Christianity.
We are a member of the United Metaphysical Churches denomination,
which has its' National Headquarters in Roanoke, Virginia.
Divine Metaphysics is a religion, a philosophy, and a science.
Most of our scripture readings come from the Holy Bible, but we
also utilize and respect all of the world's sacred texts. We
place specific emphasis on individual spiritual enlightenment and
progression through education.
RMC (Roanoke
Metaphysical Chapel) has Worship Services every Sunday morning at
11:00 a.m. Prior to our Worship Services, we provide
Spiritual Healing and Meditation from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
in the Chapel. We also have a monthly Potluck Luncheon in
the Cafeteria on the fourth Sunday of each month immediately
following the Worship Service. The fourth Friday night of
each month is devoted to our All Message Worship Service, which
begins at 7:30 p.m. Every other Wednesday evening we offer
healing and meditation in the Library from 7:00 p.m. until
7:20 p.m., and a Spiritual/Mediumship Development Class from 7:30
until 9:00 p.m. On alternating Wednesdays, we offer a student-led
Lecture/Message Service at 7:30 in the chapel. All of our Classes and Worship services are
open to the public, and our church family takes great pride in
being very welcoming and nonjudgmental to all who come. We
are considered to be a very caring and compassionate group, a
place where All Are Welcome, and a wonderful place to call your
spiritual home.

We are located on the campus of the United Metaphysical Churches National Headquarters in Roanoke, Virginia, which is nestled on over 20 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Here you'll find an excellent Retreat Center, Seminary, Bookstore, Library, and numerous Educational Program Weekends covering a wide variety of interests. We place a great deal of emphasis on education, relaxation, personal growth, and empowerment. You'll also find that many of our classes can be used as credit towards one of our Certificate Programs.
