Our Philosophy (Delaration of
Principles)
- We Believe in God as Infinite Intelligence. (In other words we believe in God, and that God's presence is everywhere and in everything.)
- We believe that the phenomena of nature, both physical and spiritual, are the expression of Infinite Intelligence.
(God's Divine Presence is expressed through all things--including the animal, vegetable, and mineral kingdoms.)
- We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression and living in accordance therewith constitute
true religion. (In other words, understanding and living in harmony with God's Laws is what true religion is all about.)

- We believe in personal responsibility, and that we create our own happiness or unhappiness as we live in harmony or discord with natural physical and spiritual laws.
(We do not accept vicarious atonement. We are each responsible for what we manifest in our lives.)
- We affirm that the existence and personal identity of the individual continues after leaving the physical world.
(We believe that life is eternal--that our spirit continues to live on in the spirit world after the physical body "dies.")
- We affirm that communication with Spirit is a natural experience, and is proven through mediumship.
(There are many forms of mediumship, and it naturally occurs for all of us during prayer and meditation. Every person who has ever repeated the Apostles Creed which says, 'I believe in the communion of saints' has acknowledged their own mediumship.)
- We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." (This was Jesus' greatest message to the world--to treat others as we would like to be treated. There is no greater morality than this!)
- We affirm that the doorway to reformation is never closed to any human soul here or hereafter.
(We always have the power to change our lives for the better--both here on the earth and in the spirit world. This also means that we do not accept "eternal damnation." We always have the ability to correct whatever we have done amiss to ourselves or others.)
NOTE: We recommend the George M. Lamsa translation of the Holy Bible which is taken from the ancient Aramaic text. The Metaphysical Church does not accept the Bible as the infallible word of God, but as an inspired collection of stories based upon the spiritual laws of the Universe seeking to help us unfold our own divinity.
"Greater things than I have done, ye shall do also!" John 14:12
